BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:20 P.M.) – The Houthi forces carried out a powerful attack, today, in response to the Saudi Coalition airstrike that killed over 20 fighters.
According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, their troops ambushed a group of Saudi Coalition fighters inside the Mothalath Ahem area, killing at least five fighters and wounding ten more.
The ambush was carried out using a roadside bomb that was planted along one of the main Saudi Coalition supply lies in the Mothalath Ahem area.
In addition to this ambush, the Houthi forces carried out several sniper attacks this afternoon, claiming another five Saudi Coalition fighters were killed inside the Jizan province of southern Saudi Arabia.
The recent flare of hostilities across Yemen has created a great deal of concern for the U.N., who is now active at the Hodeidah Port.
