A Saudi Apache helicopter was shot down in Al-Hudaidah province by anti-aircraft machineguns operated by the Houthi rebels, sources confirmed.

The downed attack helicopter was conducting a combat mission against Houthi positions in the area bfore being downed by the rebels.

In a related context, two Saudi soldiers were killed by Yemeni snipers in Najran and Jizan areas. This comes as the anti-Saudi coalition forces targeted – with artillery – the Saudi military in several locations in Jizan, killing and wounding scores, and destroying two vehicles.
