BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) – For the first time during this war, the Houthi forces struck the UAE troops with their drones in western Yemen.
According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, their rocket battalion targeted the UAE troops with their Rasid and Qasef drones in the southern countryside of the Hodeideh Governorate.
As shown in the video below, the Houthi forces were able to score direct hits on the UAE troops, despite using unguided bombs:
Typically, the Houthi drone attacks target enemy sites along the western coast, but they don’t usually strike Coalition forces.
The UAE is one of the main entities in the Arab Coalition; they are currently playing an imperative role in the pro-government offensive on the Hodeideh Port.
