BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:15 P.M.) – Another high ranking jihadist commander was recently assassinated near the militant stronghold of Kafr Nabl in the Idlib Governorate.

According to pro-opposition activists, the Egyptian jihadist Abu Leith Al-Masri was killed by unknown assailants near the town of Kabr Nabl in western Idlib.

Abu Leith Al-Masri was a high ranking military commander in the jihadist rebel group “Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham” before his assassination this week in Kafr Nabl.

No group has claimed responsibility for this latest assassination in the Idlib Governorate.

This latest assassination marks the third time this week that a foreign jihadist commander has been killed by unknown assailants in the Idlib Governorate.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
