Beirut, Lebanon (2:10 A.M.) – Hezbollah’s Secretary General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, asserted during his televised interview on Friday that his organization will emerge victorious in any war against Israel.
Citing their success against Israel during the 2006 War, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that Hezbollah’s fighters are proven warriors that are also supported by Allah.
Sayyed Nasrallah would follow this proclamation of readiness by slamming current and former members of the Lebanese government for siding with Israel during the 2006 War.
The Hezbollah leader added that European officials contacted Hezbollah during the war to notify them of Lebanese politicians rooting for Israel to destroy his organization.
“In 2006 Israel agreed on holding the ceasefire agreement, but some Lebanese factions and Arab regimes insisted on disarming Hezbollah before ending the war. Do they consider Israel as an enemy? Does the dignity of the Ummah (unified Muslim world) and Al-Quds (Jerusalem) mean anything to them? They do have different calculations.”
The primary focus of this Al-Manar interview was to discuss Israel’s latest violations in the disputed Sheba’a Farms region of Lebanon.
However, Hezbollah’s Secretary General would conclude the interview by discussing Hezbollah’s proven prowess that has been showcased during the Syrian War.
Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that Hezbollah has gained a great deal of experience during the Syrian War, fighting against what he calls “takfiri” terrorists backed by the Gulf regimes.
“If Hezbollah emerged from 2006 war a regional force, it will emerge from Syria crisis an international force.”
