BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:05 A.M.) – The Lebanese Army’s ‘historic’ victory was ruined by the Hezbollah-Syrian government deal to transport Da’esh to Deir Ezzor, the Kata’eb Party leader Sami Gemayel stated on Monday.

According to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), “in this context, the Party (Kata’eb) statement denounced the Lebanese authority’s failure to adopt the necessary measures to detain the terrorists and refer them to the concerned judiciary.

“On the other hand, the Party praised the Lebanese Army’s relentless efforts and huge sacrifices for the sake of reaching this remarkable achievement of liberating the outskirts from terrorists, and proving its capability of ensuring the State’s sovereignty over all its territories,” the report added.

The Kata’eb has been consistently critical of Hezbollah-Syrian government alliance and continues to vote against anything that favors of either entity in parliament.

Without the expertise of Hezbollah the Lebanese army would have still been scratching their arses and looking at porn mags in the back of their US built APC’s.

Not all Christians (including Maronites) are March 14th. The Franjieh family and Emile Lahoud are friends of Bashar Al-Assad. George Hawi of the LCP is also an ally. Also Julia Boutros is a supporter of Hezbollah, Fairuz is an SSNP supporter, and Wael Kfoury sung a song praising Assad. Also this idiot’s father was killed by a Maronite in the SSNP. I also have a friend who is maronite but he is March 8 all the way and a Syrian patriots

Look who is talking. He and his party (plus some other parties like Gaega’s party) have been supporting these takfiri terrorists for the last 6 years and never asked Lebanese government to initiate any action against them. Now when these terrorists are finally defeated, thanks to the efforts of resistance , they are trying to pretend as if they were against these terrorist groups.

Shame on these Saudi puppets. Remember the pay phone starts talking when someone (like Saudis) puts coin in it.

Does it really matter?
Having Daesh removed is like having the Israelis withdraw from Lebanese territory in 2006. Basically an immediate, nearby threat is moved into the distance and the Lebanese people in those areas can now get on with their lives.
I would think that instead of criticism that perhaps a dose of confidence building between the different Lebanese factions could do wonder for a country’s unity and economic well-being.
