BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:45 A.M.) – Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, will deliver a televised speech via Al-Manar TV on Tuesday, the organization said via their official media wing on Sunday.
According to Hezbollah media relations, their leader will address the recent local and regional political developments.
Nasrallah’s decision to deliver a televised speech came just a day before U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he was going to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights region.
Hezbollah, which is a key ally of the Syrian government, has repeatedly called on Israel to withdraw their forces from the Golan Heights.
On Monday, Trump officially recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, sparking outrage among the Arab League nations and other regional countries, including Turkey and Iran.
