BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 P.M.) – Hezbollah’s official media wing released a statement on Sunday that denied rumors of an Israeli attack on their positions near the Syrian border.
According to Hezbollah’s statement, no Israeli attack took place in the Ba’albak Highlands nor inside of Syria.
In addition to Hezbollah’s denial, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) did not release any statement confirming this attack.
The rumors began when Israeli news channels spread a report allegedly posted by Al-Arabiya that claimed Hezbollah’s positions were attacked in eastern Lebanon.
