BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 P.M.) – On Sunday night, former Lebanese Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, conducted his first interview from Saudi Arabia since his resignation from his political post.
Hariri spoke to his news network, Future TV, on Sunday evening to discuss his resignation and his abrupt departure from Lebanon on Saturday, November 4th.
“My resignation was done Lebanon’s best interest,” Hariri began.
“I’m proud of the settlement I made and I am not against Hezbollah as a political party, but that does not mean I support Hezbollah’s destruction of Lebanon,” the former premier continued.
Hariri then stated that he is not afraid of losing his life, despite the fact he said he left Lebanon due to security concerns.
“I will return to Lebanon very soon,” Hariri concluded
