El Ejército de Siria con el apoyo de sus aliados ha recuperado y asegurado la ciudad de Kawkab, en el norte de Hama.

Decenas de combatientes de Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (anteriormente conocido como al-Nusra y al-Qaeda en Siria) murieron en el contraataque del Ejército sirio.

El devastador ataque de las tropas sirias también resultó en la destrucción de una base de operaciones, así como dos depósitos de armas y municiones, cuatro tanques, seis vehículos blindados y más de 9 camionetas equipadas con cañones de 23 mm.

El Ejército Árabe Sirio (EAS) continúa las operaciones para restaurar todos los puntos perdidos en el reciente asalto yihadista.
