BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 A.M.) – A group of rebel fighters were killed in the southern countryside of Idlib, yesterday, after unknown assailants opened fire on their vehicle.
According to pro-rebel activists, three members of Faylaq Al-Sham were killed along the Ariha-Saraqib Highway, yesterday, when a group of unknown assailants fired on their transport.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
However, it is believed that Islamic State (ISIS) sleeper cells are carrying out these attacks, as they have recently targeted several rebels over the last two weeks.
Syrian opposition activists have accused both ISIS and the Syrian Army of carrying out this attack.
