DAMASCUS, SYRIA (8:05 P.M.) – At least 10 Egyptian soldiers were burned alive or shot dead at point-blank range due to a recent ISIS suicide bombing that took place on a road in the contested Sinai province.

A series of astonishing photos released by Amaq Agency showed a car bomb pretending to be vehicle transporting fruit, completely unbeknownst to a convoy of Egyptian troops.

The impact of the explosion took out between three to four armored vehicles immediately while nearby ISIS militants stormed the convoy seconds later, finishing off any survivors.

Viewer discretion is advised due to the graphic nature of the photos:

Minutes later, the jihadist fighters escaped in a police car and took with them significant spoils of war into the vast desert..

Clashes between the Egyptian Army and ISIS-alligned tribes have steadily intensified since 2014, prompting government forces to stay on high alert and the Egyptian Air Force to conduct daily sorties over suspected Islamic State positions.
