BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:00 P.M.) – The Free Syrian Army (FSA) and their Islamist allies launched a counter-offensive against Jaysh Khaled bin Walid (ISIS) affiliate) in the southwestern countryside of the Dara’a Governorate, targeting the aforementioned terrorist group’s positions near the key town of Tasil.

However, this counter-offensive would be short-lived, as the rebel forces were ultimately repelled by the Islamic State affiliate after a quick battle.

The Islamic State’s official media wing, Al-‘Amaq, released photos from the battle this week, showing scores of dead rebel fighters near the strategic hilltop of Tal Al-Jamou.

Last week, Jaysh Khaled bin Walid launched an offensive to expand their pocket in southwestern Dara’a; this assault would prove successful, as they seized several points from the rebel forces.

It is good for some people who think war is good, or supporting “Rebels” is good.
