BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:45 A.M.) – The Turkish-backed rebel group, Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, released a video this past weekend of their fighters boasting about beheading a Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldier in northwestern Syria.
Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, who has repeatedly tried to sell themselves as a ‘moderate’ rebel group, is currently participating in the ongoing battle for the northwestern countryside of the Hama
Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham recently deployed a large number of their fighters from the Afrin region to the Idlib-Hama axis, where they are trying to help their comrades regain the initiative after losing several towns, including Qal’at Al-Madiq and Kafr Naboudeh.
In addition to releasing their beheading video, a group of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham fighters were filmed vowing to behead more Syrian Army soldiers:
