BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:15 A.M.) – On Wednesday evening, Al-Masdar News obtained exclusive photos from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), showing the aftermath of their assault on the militants in Wadi Barada.

According to a senior officer from the 42nd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division, the Syrian Army intensified their military operations near the key village of Bassima on Wednesday, killing and wounding many jihadist rebels that refused to leave the area.

Despite conflicting reports from activists on both sides, there is currently no ceasefire agreement in Wadi Barada; this is due to the jihadist rebels of Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham and Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham.

The two aforementioned jihadist groups rejected the Syrian Army’s offer to transport their militants to the Idlib Governorate in exchange for their surrender of the Wadi Barada pocket.

Mejor es acabar con todos estos criminales, Así el gobierno se evita de gastar en transportar a otro lado que al final van a seguir cometiendo actos terroristas.
