GOLAN HEIGHTS, SYRIA (7:20 P.M.) – A group of jihadist rebels from the Sadqa Wa’dah Movement reportedly attacked the Syrian Armed Forces at Tal Taranjeh (Battalion 4 Hill) in the Golan Heights, resulting in a fierce exchange of missiles and artillery shells that lasted for a half hour on Wednesday.
According to a military source in the Golan Heights, the Sadqa Wa’dah Movement attempted to weaken the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses at Tal Taranjeh; however, they were unable to damage their fortifications.
Instead, the Sadqa Wa’dah Movement found themselves as the primary recipient of the Syrian Arab Army’s barrage of missiles that fired from Tal Taranjeh.
This Syrian Arab Army missile strike resulted in the death of 5 jihadist rebels on Wednesday, including the leader of the Sadqa Wa’dah Movement Baslan Fou’az Al-Masri.
