BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:50 P.M.) – Another high ranking rebel commander has been assinated in the northern province of Idlib, pro-opposition activists reported this morning.

According to the activists, the deputy commander of Jaysh Al-Ahrar, Abu Isma’el Jobas, was assassinated in the Idlib Governorate this week.

The Jaysh Al-Ahrar commander was allegedly leaving fajr prayers when a group of unknown assailants opened fire on him.

Jobas was killed alongside his son, who was also present at the scene of the assassination.

No group has claimed responsibility for this latest assassination.
