BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:30 P.M.) – The leader of the Lebanese Forces Party Samir Geagea, told a French publication on Tuesday that Iran had failed to win over the region.

“It is wrong to believe that Tehran has won in the region,” Geagea told L’Orient Le Jour daily.

“The Iranian axis is facing great pressures in the region, as proven by the repeated Israeli airstrikes on Iran and its allies in Syria, and to which Iran did not react,” he explained.

Geagea then turned his attention to Hezbollah, who he heavily criticized during his short interview.

“As to Hezbollah, this party has been present in Lebanon for 30 years and its militia had not been legalized; on the contrary, discussions today focus on the means to dissolve its military units. So, how can we say that Hezbollah is the master of the game on the Lebanese scene?” Geagea continued.

He added that Hezbollah would not be able to take over Lebanon due to the country’s particularity.

Houthis are on a very very bad way. And yeah, Geagea is right : despite Israeli continuous air strikes, all IRGC/Hezb attempts to retaliate were useless and responded with new strikes.

Hezbollah and IRGC were totally useless in Syria : unable to repel shithadists and mercenaries until Russia intervened. IRIAF wasn’t even able to send a single aircraft to help with air strikes.

Hellbollah support in Lebanese population is only around 10%, meaning that only 37% of Lebanese Shia are pro Hezb…

UNSC Res.1701 orders the disarmament of ALL Lebanese militias. Iran has already cut around 30-35% of Hezb funding and with the new set of US sanctions, as Iran’s export of oil has been cut by 50% while it’s 80% of the country’s economy…

Future is far from sounding great, especially since Hellbollah’s drug rings are highly getting busted in the EU.

Lebanese govt should purchase agricultural aircraft in order to spray Round’Up on Hezbollah’s marijuana fields in Beka’a valley. Moreover, Air-Tractor AT802 can be converted as a powerful COIN aircraft carrying 3690kg payload, near as much as Su-25…

While A-29 Super-Tuccano are being delivered, Lebanese army may be able to enforce UNSC Res.1701 sooner than many may think. It’s sad many in Lebanon are still in the obsolete Arab-Union mindset : Israel could GREATLY help Lebanon in getting rid from Hezb.

This Samir Geagea wouldn’t be in his position if Hezbollah hadn’t resisted the Israeli attack in 2006
