Utilizando misiles y artillería, la 11ª División del Ejército Sirio inició un poderoso ataque contra los rebeldes jihadistas esta mañana en el norte de Hama.

El blanco han sido posiciones de los grupos Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham y Jaysh Al-Izza cerca del punto fortificado de al-Lataminah.

Se espera que el ejército expanda sus operaciones apuntando a los jihadistas en todo el eje Hama-Idlib.

Como respuesta los terroristas iniciaron un bombardeo de zonas bajo control del gobierno en la región.

Si bien no se han realizado movimientos sobre el terreno, el EAS ha aumentado notablemente su agresividad en toda la región, lo que puede ser una señal de futuras operaciones.

La razón posiblemente se encuentre en la proximidad de las posiciones jihadistas de la capital provincial, lo que habría impulsado a Damasco a limpiar la zona para asegurar la provincia.
