Several scuffles broke out in Ramallah on Monday after the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) entered the city as part of a search for Palestinians allegedly involved in a shooting in the Israeli settlement of Ofra.
Dozens of Palestinians were reportedly injured by tear gas inhalation and rubber bullets during the clashes which broke out at the entrance to northern Ramallah.
The IDF patrolled in military vehicles, occasionally raiding shops and residences, with protesters throwing stones at Israeli soldiers in response.
The IDF have reportedly intensified incursions and imposed roadblocks on Ramallah following the alleged shooting which injured six on Sunday evening.
