Another European national fighting with the Saudi-led Coalition Forces has been reportedly killed in southern Yemen after clashing with the Yemeni Army’s Republican Guard and the Houthis.

According to the Houthis media relations, the European national was carrying a French passport and identification card when his body was recovered by the Yemeni Army’s Republican Guard in the village of Al-Sinimah, near the strategic city of Ta’iz.

The Houthis spokesperson further added that the Frenchmen was part of an elite mercenary group that was tied to the infamous U.S. defense contracting company “Blackwater Group”.

No further details were revealed regarding his identity; however, this information will likely be released in the coming days.

An estimated 1,000-2,000 foreign mercenaries are fighting Yemen; these fighters have been hired by the Saudi and Emirati regimes to combat the anti-government fighters in the country.
