BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:45 A.M.) – French President Emmanuel Macron said Thursday that Hezbollah must solve the problems of people in Lebanon instead of serving the interests of a foreign country.

Macron made the remarks at a press conference in Beirut, which was reported by many media outlets and agencies.

He continued, “If they defend the interests of the Lebanese people, let them find a solution to electricity and to the problems of the people instead of serving the interests of a foreign country.”

He said, “France will never leave Lebanon, nor will it abandon the Lebanese people. When the heart of Lebanon is harmed, the heart of France is harmed.”

Macron stressed the need to carry out the necessary reforms, which Lebanon needs, noting that “cooperation with the International Monetary Fund should be undertaken.”

For its part, the head of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva, announced earlier Thursday that the fund is exploring all possible options to provide support to Lebanon after the explosion.

LOL, ManuMac should read Hezb’s manifesto! They don’t pledge allegiance to Lebanon, they pledge allegiance to Khamenei! Khamenei is ready to fight Israel to the last Lebanese, Hezb even started the 2006 war for him but didn’t expected that IDF’s response would be so violent, demolishing 20% of the country’s economy within a month and killing the third of Hezb fighters. Moreover, ManuMac should read UNSC Res.1701 ordering the disarmament of ALL Lebanese militias. All complied but Hezb! Any member of UNSC should take the lead in order to enforce this, Lebanon will be sick as long as Hezb is… Read more »

Macron probably knows well about the missile strike in Beirut.

Mr Macron, simply say that he want Hezbollah to stop confronting Israel and remain silent until when Israelis subdue them, simple!
Where were you when Israel was bombing Lebanon in the fast?

France’s heart must be in serious condition, since it’s constantly bleeding for all her former colonies!

Macaroon should STFU and sit down. What a two-faced little lap-dog, NATO stooge and western ex-colonial wannabe. France makes like they are still relevant on the world stage, while the French people have been demonstrating against their useless gov for over a year. Macaroon only wishes that France was more than a shadow of itself. How about go back to France and listen to your own citizens? No, he’d rather run around and pretend to be important while stabbing Syria and Iran in the back like the good little NATO tart he is. They are so concerned over peoples plight,… Read more »

This website urgently needs a hasbara eliminator to monitor the usual paid trolls and enthusiastic volunteers who push the familiar lies, smears, half truths and disinformation on behalf of the bandit state. Otherwise the site will taken over and become just another boring MEMO type site. Just look at the propaganda written by “Daeshbags Sux” for example.

The hasbara pushers already have their own fully bought and paid for “mainstream” media.

Macron wouldn’t be telling this to Hezbollah if Hezbollah was serving the interests of Israel and America. I remember the chicken Macron told President Rouhani of Iran during the UN Assembly, take the chance while you can and talk to Trump. This man is just a lowlife politician, he is not a philosopher. Hezbollah should advise him to serve his own nation’s interests rather than those of Zionist America and Israel.
