“Russia and Iran should stop playing games and seriously engage in finding a responsible and peaceful solution [in Syria],” President of European Council Donald Tusk said during a European Parliament address in Strasbourg on Wednesday.

In his remarks, Tusk said the European Council backed the UK Government’s declaration “that it is highly likely that the Russian Federation is responsible for the nerve agent attack in Salisbury.”

On another front, Tusk pressed the UK to find a feasible solution to the Ireland and Northern Ireland border issue, saying that “The UK’s decision on Brexit has caused the problem and UK has to help solve it.”

He added: “Without a solution, there will be no withdrawal agreement and no transition.”

In other words, Tusk wants Russia to stop helping the SAA liberate Syria and allow America and Israel to rape and pillage another independent secular nation state.

Tusk has the same creepy look as Jubar in Saudi Arabia.

Actually, Russia is not playing games : a Qatar/KSA=>Syria=>Turkey=>EU pipeline would destroy half of Russia’s economy…
Near 3 years ago, Putin said “I hope we won’t have to nuke”.
IMHO, he was pretty serious : Doing a radioactive no mans’ land to prevent such a pipeline is highly considered, Russia is NOT playing games, this is very serious.

Good point! In the beginning of the Syrian war I was thinking the same like you that all this must be because of the pipe from Qatar. However, if you take a closer look on the map you will see that even Dr. Bashar Assad (praised to be his name!) would not allow such pipe (and he actually did) US puppets could easily run it through Iraq (Iraqis government is running by US puppets as well). So, I started to ask myself one simple question: “Why USA would start so costly war just because Syrian government would not allow the… Read more »

How about physical access to Iran proper (Iraq) as well as cutting them off from the Med (Syria)? Once they have Iran…who would they then have physical access to..as well as a new ‘buffer zone’ to play games from? Surely the US hasn’t encircled the entire RF and Iran with 100’s of bases for no reason. It certainly isn’t for a pipeline either.
