BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:40 P.M.) – The foreign jihadist group, the Turkestan Islamic Party, admitted that their forces suffered heavy losses during yesterday’s offensive in the Turkmen Mountains of northern Latakia.

According to the group, they lost 17 combatants during their offensive, including Moqdad Hemik (AKA “Abu Ishaq”), Tariq Campbell (AKA “Abu Al-Walid”), Nizar Al-Turkmani (AKA “Abu ‘Ali”), and a militant named Usama (AKA “Abu Dajana”).

The Turkestan Islamic Party said they managed to capture some points during the operation, but did not specify that they were forced to eventually abandon these areas after the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a swift counter-offensive.

They claimed four Syrian soldiers were captured during their operation; this was confirmed via the video footage that was released from northern Latakia.

The jihadist group also claimed they destroyed two tanks and captured another, while also killing several Syrian soldiers.

A source from the Syrian military told Al-Masdar that they suffered a total of 12 casualties during the jihadist operation.

Tuesday’s offensive by the jihadist forces marked the first time in nearly two years that they had launched an operation of this sort in the Latakia Governorate.

If they say officially 17 KIA it means it must have been much much more. SAA too is not putting up the confirmed number of kills of the terrorists least Turki and the sponsors get jittery. 2 – 3 years ago we used to see bodies of fallen terrorists lined up & photographed in the news now a days we don’t see such photos. I am sure the fleeing terrorists can’t take their dead bodies back so these dead shitlamist Jihadis must be rotting away.

El ejercito Sirio debe publicar los cadáveres de los terroristas para ayudar a compartirlas en redes sociales, es el único medio para enfrentar a la ofensiva propaganda de los medios occidentales que ayudan a los terroristas.
