BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 P.M.) – The assassination of jihadist commanders in Idlib resumed on Tuesday when another high ranking leader was gunned down in the southern part of the province.
According to opposition activists, Mu’atz Bilah Al-Uzbeki was gunned down by unknown assailants in the town of Tremelah, which is not far from the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) front-lines.
The jihadist commander from Uzbekistan was a leader in the jihadist group “Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham” before he was gunned down in the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate on Tuesday.
No group has claimed responsibility for this latest assassination.
The death of this jihadist commander comes just 24 hours after a foreign commander from west China was assassinated outside his home in northeast Latakia.
