BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – The first phase of the ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham has commenced this morning, the Lebanese group’s official media wing reported.

According to Hezbollah’s media wing, the Lebanese group will deliver nine HTS corpses in their possession to the aforementioned jihadist group; this will be monitored by General Security Forces.

In exchange for the nine HTS corpses, the latter will deliver five corpses of fallen Hezbollah soldiers in the ‘Arsal Barrens.

The exchange between the two groups will take place inside the Al-Labweh area of the ‘Arsal Municipality.

The second phase of the ‘Arsal agreement will begin next week, when both parties involved exchange prisoners.
