The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria managed to capture Sfaiyeh oilfield and checkpoint after fierce clashes with Syrian troops, the group’s official social media account reported.

On Monday early morning, ISIS launched a wide-scale counteroffensive to reclaim territories it lost to the government troops in Thawra Oil Fields.

Sfaiyeh oilfield is located nearly 20 km to the south of al-Tabqa Airbase which the Army lost in August 2014.

Kurds just want to create their state. They dont care about the rest of Syria and they have colaborated with al Nusra several times.

maybe just maybe they cooperated with SAA too? this whole action was the attemp of SAA to cut the Raqqa-north allepo-transit for SDF.
kurds want to creat their own state by defeating IS
and they want to treat turmens and arabs better than the turkish goverment the kurds.

assad would be a f*****g idiot, not working together with kurds and their independence to get more independence against turkish influence (including Pro al Nusra and IS followers in turkey)….do you really belive after kobane they will go back to the syrian state? HA HA HA
