Las familias de los 17 venezolanos detenidos en Ecuador están preocupadas de que sus familiares en Ecuador sean acusados de falsas acusaciones. Esto es de acuerdo con la información publicada por el periodista venezolano Jefferson Díaz

El jueves por la tarde, la ministra del Interior de Ecuador, María Paula Romo, publicó información sobre el arresto de 17 venezolanos en el aeropuerto Mariscal Sucre en Quito. Ella los acusó de trabajar para el servicio secreto de Venezuela (SEBIN) y afirmó que llevaban documentos sobre el movimiento del presidente ecuatoriano Lenin Moreno y su vicepresidente Otto Sonnenholzner.

Según los documentos de viaje de los acusados, han pasado hasta dos años en Ecuador, donde han trabajado como taxistas cerca del aeropuerto.

La audiencia del juicio se llevó a cabo en la Unidad de Flagrancia de Quito el viernes. A pesar de afirmar que 17 personas fueron arrestadas en la conspiración, un total de 19 fueron acusadas. Solo cuatro de ellos recibieron una sentencia, uno de ellos por posesión de marihuana.
