BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:20 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has made their final preparations for their long-awaited Al-Quneitra offensive in southern Syria, an officer from the elite 42nd Brigade of the 4th Division told Al-Masdar News on Monday.

According to the officer from the 42nd Brigade, their unit has moved all of their missile launchers and troops in position to kickoff the offensive.

The officer added that the Syrian Army’s High Command and town elders from Al-Quneitra are now negotiating a possible reconciliation agreement that is similar to the ones from the East Ghouta and northern Homs.

The rebels will be given the opportunity to settle their situations with the government in order to receive amnesty.

Any rebel that does not accept the reconciliation deal or is ineligible for amnesty will be transported to northern Syria.
