BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:30 P.M.) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed tens of thousands at a rally in Istanbul, Saturday to mark a year since the attempted coup on July 15, he warned of future attempts saying “we will cutoff these traitors heads first.”

Erdogan praised the Turkish citizens who answered his call to resist for saving Turkey’s future and unveiled a “martyrs’ memorial” at the bridge over the Bosphorus, which has been renamed the Bridge of the Martyrs of July 15.

Some 250 people died and 2,196 were wounded fighting the coup attempt.

The President also said he would “immediately” sign a bill reinstating the death penalty if parliament proposed it.

Actualy, had it been a REAL coup, the army would have respected Turkish constitution as defender of the democracy from this Hitler fanboy!
If he wants to cut off the head of a traitor, he should begin by himself!
