BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:00 A.M.) – Turkey’s presidential candidate Muharrem Ince rallied in front of hundreds of thousands of supporters at a campaign rally in Istanbul on Saturday, just one day before the start of his first tour before Turkey’s snap president elections.

During his rally, which was not broadcasted on any Turkish television channel, Ince made several promises to the crowd, while also providing a glimpse into his potential presidency.

“If the eyes are not lying, if the words are not lying, if the squares are not lying, if the streets are not lying, this has been done, this is job is done. Rest assured. Not a president with a long face, not a tired president, a president with fresh blood,” he began.

“Not a president which is yelling ‘Eyyy’ in the rallies, a president which is talking about the future at rallies, a president who talks about nano technology, space mining, a president who is talking about cars without drivers, a president who promises not to open coffee shops but factories. Not a president who is offering free cake after sixteen years of service but a president talking about, jobs, food and bread,” Ince told the crowd.

“I will do whatever it takes to create an independent judiciary, the economy cannot recover without an independent judiciary, to recover the economy you have to free the judiciary, that’s where we will start. How nice of you. There will be a Turkey like this. We will establish together a Turkey like this,” he continued.

“I am proud of you too. I am proud of five million here. I am proud of the 81 million.” he added.
