SANTIAGO, CHILE – Cerca de un centenar de personas se reunieron ayer ante la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Santiago de Chile para protestar contra los recientes ataques aéreos contra Siria ordenados por la Administración de Donald Trump.

Sirios y chilenos que asistieron al acto denunciaron la última escalada por parte de Washington como un acto de agresión contra una nación soberana y manifestaron su apoyo al pueblo sirio y a sus instituciones.

La protesta de hoy fue precedida por una manifestación en la embajada siria en Chile el pasado sábado.

Las protestas contra la Administración de Estados Unidos también tuvieron lugar en otros países de América Latina, como Bolivia y Argentina.

El sábado, cientos de manifestantes desafiaron la lluvia y se reunieron frente a la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Buenos Aires.
