El príncipe de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos (EAU), Mohammad bin Zayed al-Nahyan, anunció el miércoles que sus fuerzas se retirarán de Yemen después de pasar más de 14 meses en el interior del país.

El príncipe Mohammad emitió esta declaración con respecto a la retirada sus tropas desde Yemen a través de su cuenta de noticias de Twitter el miércoles.

“Nuestro punto de vista es claro: la guerra se acabó para nuestras tropas; estamos monitoreando acuerdos políticos, empoderando a los yemeníes en las zonas liberadas”.

Ha sido una semana difícil para la rica nación del Golfo, pues ha perdido tres helicópteros militares cerca de la sureña ciudad portuaria de Adén.
