BEIRUT, LÍBANO (3:45 P.M.) – El Ejército Árabe Sirio (SAA) se ha desplegado en dos nuevas ciudades en el campo del noroeste de la gobernación de Al-Hasakah, dijo una fuente del ejército a Al-Masdar News.

Según la fuente, el ejército sirio se desplegó en las ciudades de Al-Qassimiyah y Al-Rashidiyah en el noroeste de Al-Hasakah luego de un ataque de los militantes respaldados por Turquía a principios de semana.

Estas dos ciudades están ubicadas a lo largo de la carretera Tal Tamr-Ras Al-‘Ayn, que es donde los militantes respaldados por Turquía lanzaron un ataque a principios de semana.

El ejército árabe sirio ha aumentado recientemente su presencia en el campo del noroeste de la gobernación de Al-Hasakah para evitar que los militantes se apoderen de la tierra cerca de la ciudad fronteriza de Ras Al-‘Ayn.

Además de su despliegue en el noroeste de Al-Hasakah, el ejército árabe sirio también ha aumentado su presencia alrededor de la ciudad de ‘Ayn’ Issa, que se encuentra en la parte norte de la gobernación de Al-Raqqa.
