Los trabajos de recuperación en los campos de petróleo y gas en la provincia siria de Raqqa, así como en el “triángulo” entre las provincias liberadas de Raqqah, Hama y Homs, han comenzado, dijo el jefe de la gerencia de campo de al-Saura, Ali Ibrahim.

Según Ibrahim, todos los pozos petroleros y toda la infraestructura en las plantas de tratamiento de los campos fueron completamente destruidos, mientras que las tuberías fueron parcialmente destruidas.

“La restauración de los campos requerirá mucho trabajo y la participación de grandes empresas”, agregó el gerente.
Ibrahim enfatizó que la destrucción fue causada por los ataques aéreos de la coalición estadounidense, que bombardearon territorios bajo el control del grupo terrorista Daesh * y dispararon cohetes contra cada pozo.

Cerca de 6,000 barriles de petróleo fueron extraídos diariamente en el campo al-Saura antes de la guerra en Siria, que ha estado ocurriendo desde 2011.
