Por tercer día consecutivo las tropas gubernamentales atacaron a los rebeldes jihadistas al interior de la provincia de Idlib, en el norte del país.

Unidades de la 4ª y 11ª divisiones comenzaron los ataques en el campo del norte de Hama, destruyendo varias posiciones jihaidistas cerca de los pueblos de al-Lataminah, Kafr Zita y Zakat.

Los ataques se expandieron luego hacia Idlib, donde se apuntó a diferentes localidades controladas por Jabhat Tahrir Souriya y Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham

En particular, el ejército apuntó a posiciones de HTS en los alrededores de al-Khuwayn, matando a numerosos militantes incluidos Mohannad Radwan Al-Saleh y ‘Abdel-Latif Khaled Al-Qaddour.

Otro blanco fue un agrupamiento de terroristas en el pueblo de Saraqib, donde varios vehículos equipados con ametralladoras pesadas resultaron destruidos.

Se estima que los ataques de los últimos días son en preparación de la largo tiempo esperada ofensiva en las zonas rurales de Hama y Latakia, paso previo para el ataque al feudo jihadista de Idlib.
