DAMASCUS, SYRIA (2:20 P.M.) – Egyptian fighter jets landed for the first time at the Hama Military Airport this week, the Lebanon-based As-Safir newspaper reported on Wednesday morning.

As-Safir claims that these Egyptian fighter jets will participate in the ongoing military operations against the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS), while also providing logistical support to the Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAYF).

Al-Masdar contacted the Syrian Air Force to corroborate this report by As-Safir; however, no response has been received yet to verify the validity of this claim.

Last month, several Egyptian military advisors traveled from Cairo to the Port of Tartous in order to participate in a training session with their Russian counterparts at the T-4 Airport in east Homs.

  1. Wow! They are reading my advices or what????
Erdogan will have to think twice doing shit now!
Greeks have ridiculed and humiliated THK many times with their Mirage-2000s, Egypt has Rafales now… During drills where full ECM was used, Rafales scored 37:1 against Typhoons and…

These are drill-kills thus, even F-22 is not secure anymore…
Daesh said they wanted to destroy the pyramids…
Seems the pyramids are coming for them :

This is the curse of the pharaohs! And, BTW, they dared to hijack the name of the greatest goddess of Egypt… All the gods are against them and the Moon-god, now!

    • I knew ‘stealth’ was almost certainly useless against Russian ground-based low-band radar, but you’re indicating it doesn’t even do much against capable aircraft mounted systems as well. Fucking pathetic. The US military-industrial complex can’t even deliver a working weapon anymore…

      • There are several ways to deliver stealthness.
The passive one with special geometry and RAM coatings works well but on X-band and partly on S-band. Most of aircraft radars are on X-band.
Now, the goal is also not to be invisible but to reduce the radar signature or size. i.e. on X-band, F-22 is the size of a tennis ball, Rafale the size of a seagull, so you get detected but later than without the passive stealth.
Now, if you radar, as a 1943 brit one, works on much lower frequencies, passive stealth is void, but such radars are huge. Rafale has also radar absorbant materials, but these are baked in its composites : no coating. Now, there are things that play on geometry too, thus, no compromises had been made to fly qualities.

PAK-FA will have a L-band radar in the wings, an E-3 AWACS has both L and K bands (and X or S too, not remember well) so no stealth for E-3.
Thus, you have less precision. The 1970 air-defence radar for Paris was already stealth-proof.

Now, you have other principles which are the ways followed by Frenchs and Russians, thus, F-35 is likely to have it too : active stealth. You record radar waves, then send them back 180° out of phase so your echo is cancelled. It’s also called active cancellation. There is also the plasma method but… The plane glows so… In Libya, Rafales flew just over the same radar S-300 has without even being noticed at all (!!!)

Now, other points where Lockheed show they are crooks : when they talk about BVR (beyond visibility range) action : for this, you have to put your onboard radar on… Yeaah, so everybody detects you! Well, you may shoot an AMRAAM from 120km… K-77 and Meteor have a 200km range and there are seekers that can lock on radar waves! In contested airspace, just put your radar on, you’re dead!
Thus, you’ll have to rely on IRST… It highly shortens your range of detection : 50 to 80km at best… US Sidewinder and Russian R-73 IR missiles have about 30km range. French Mica? 80km (!!). Now, F-22 & Flankers are big and very hot. Rafale is small and has a serious cooling system for engines, it’s the colder aircraft on market… What happens? Last detected in the IR, longer range for IR missiles = game over!
Now, we’re likely to end in dogfight as it’s hard to detect others. Rafale is small, has delta wings and canards. F-22 has vectoring thrust and was unable to get out from the Rafale’s grip during drills, but, well, in dogfight, Greek Mirage-2000s got him too! Deltas rocks! Remember the old Mirage III during the 6 days war : they totally devastated Arab air forces… Thus, there is already a new engine even more powerful and the vectoring thrust is for 2018 or 2020.

Now, Rafales has some other nasty tricks onboard : passive radar : the emiters? Your cell phone, radio waves, GPS signals, anything with electromagnetic rays! And it can project hundreds of ghost echoes of itself. You have serious problems to detect the real one but radar teams get bonkers : the sky is filled with echoes!!!
In fact, it has won all competitions against other aircrafts (were serious tests were held) but for some countries, it was considerd too expensive, for many others, the choice came from politics or bribery. Lockheed proposed to build a F-16 factory for free in India if they didn’t bought Rafales! In fact, US did anything they could to torpedo any foreign sales for 15 years. In fact, for now, but we’ll see in the future, Dassault makes really the most dangerous jet fighter on Earth, moreover, as you can rapidly change the engines and it is low maintenance, several Rafale-M were really pushed during the infamous Libyan NFZ up to 10-11 missions a day for a full week! Never seen on any jet-fighter! At best, you can expect 3-4 missions a day from others, a F-22 can fly every other day.

“The US military-industrial complex can’t even deliver a working weapon anymore…”
I don’t agree. Growler and F-15SE (Silent Eagle) have great potential, F-22 if modernised with active stealth added has devastating potentials. Now, if you speak about F-35, well, it’s the biggest scam ever! It was already the same with F-104 Starfighter. Now, it not only the performances that matter : Lüftwaffe had Me-262 jets, V-1 cruise missile, V-2 ballistic missiles and already guided A2A, SAM or anti-ship missiles. They also lost WW2… BTW, about F-35B : get infos on Yakovlev Yak-43 and Yak-141 and have a good laugh… Yeep, F-35B is a soviet aircraft slightly redisigned! Lockheed bought the project in 1994!

    • Funny fact, I’m French, so is Françoise and we don’t look pissed-off at all. Personnally, most of the people I know consider we should closely work with Russia and Syria to eradicate Qaeda and Daesh.
I’m not really sure about how the govt sees things : they seem supportive to the so-called “rebels” but stopped any help to FSA as soon that Sarkozy was ousted from his prez job. Only the Kurds are backed. In fact, yu can even see many public sayings as double-talk and considering oil company Total just signed a huge gas contract with Iran and EU allowed full access to OPAL pipeline to Gazprom… Some other acts do not stick with the talks, the list is long, so one can ask himself if in a way, diplomacy sees to not unplease US DoS and serious business with the GCC countries and on another plan, nothing real is made against Russia or Syria and action doesn’t go further than concentrating on hurting Daesh.
Now when you consider how France fucked-up sub saharian jihadists, especially the formerly powerful AQIM, it is dubious that the gvt is likely to back other branches of Qaeda, including the Syrian one… Thus, there may be some officials being Saudi-friendly. Just before becoming prez, F.Hollande was clearly accusing KSA and Qatar to fund world terrorism. Although not said clearly since he’s prez, there were some understatements on many occasions that prolonged this view so, if you read between the lines of diplomatic hypocrite language, you might seriously question that the Frenchs are pissed-off by what you point…
