The Druze of Majdal Al-Shams (occupied Golan Heights) organized a protest on Sunday night in response to Israel’s continued support of the jihadist rebels in Syria.
Over the weekend, the jihadist rebels of Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front) and Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham launched a massive offensive in the Golan Heights that targeted the predominately Druze village of Hader.
During their attack on Hader, the Israeli Air Force attacked the village after they alleged a mortar shell landed in the occupied areas.
The Druze of Majdal Al-Shams still remain in close contact with their relatives across the border and they are known to hold massive rallies in support of Syria.
Last year, the Syrian Druze in the occupied Golan Heights stormed an Israeli ambulance that was transporting wounded jihadists to their hospitals, resulting in the death of the militant.
This incident forced the Israeli government to halt the transportation of jihadists to their field hospitals; however, their airstrikes against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) would continue.
