The humanitarian corridor set up by the Syrian military in Bustan al-Qasr district in the northern city of Aleppo has come under mortar attack fired from the rebel-held districts in the city’s east.

Syrian Army checkpoints in the area were also targeted by small arms fire. No casualties reported.

The attack was caught on camera by Al-Alam News Network’s correspondent in Aleppo who was covering the area.

Following the attack, the busses intended to transport the civilians willing to flee the Islamist-controlled parts hastily left  for fear to be damaged by the attack.

Earlier, the Syrian military and Russian Air Force declared a ceasefire and offered 8 corridors; 6 of them for civilians and 2 for militants willing to leave with their weapons.
