BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 P.M.) – A massive force from Iraq’s Hashd Al-Sha’abi (var. Popular Mobilization Units) has mobilized along the Anbar-Deir Ezzor border for a new offensive against the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) terror group, a source from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) told Al-Masdar News on Wednesday.

According to the source, a Hashd Al-Sha’abi force of approximately 10,000 fighters is deployed along the Anbar-Deir Ezzor border; they are waiting for the Syrian Arab Army to start their new offensive against the Islamic State in this region.

The source said that both the Syrian Arab Army and Hashd Al-Sha’abi forces will work together to liberate the remaining Islamic State pockets that are lingering between the two countries.

This large mobilization of Hashd Al-Sha’abi troops along the Syrian border is likely the reason why the U.S. Coalition attempted to survey the area.

However, when they pressed the Iraqi Army and Hashd Al-Sha’abi about their numbers, weaponry, and positions along the border, the two forces refused to comply.

Hashd Al-Sha’abi has often worked closely with the Syrian Arab Army and their allies in the region to carry out joint attacks and guard the vast border between Iraq and Syria.

This is how the war for syria will be won! The nations that are being abused by the west and their israeli masters would not be able to use the excuse of the “war on terror” if the iraqis and syrians just moved as one in the same direction and supported each other both politicaly and militarily along with the honest assistance from both russia and iran! For too long the lies and threats have allowed the u.s. and so on to steal and cheat these countries of their safety and prosperity, lets hope we see much more co operation… Read more »
