BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:00 A.M.) – The Israeli Air Force allegedly struck the Syrian capital of Damascus, tonight, a local military report claimed.
According to the report, at least two Israeli missiles targeted a military site located near the Damascus International Airport.
In response to the attack, the Syrian Air Defense attempted to down the Israeli missiles over eastern Damascus – no confirmation was given whether or not they were intercepted.
Following this alleged attack, the local National Defense Forces (NDF) in the Al-Quneitra Governorate reported at least one powerful explosion above the northern part of the province.
Some reports claim that the explosion was a result of a Syrian air defense missile hitting an Israeli drone above the northern part of Al-Quneitra.
