BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army launched a powerful attack in the northwestern countryside of the Hama Governorate on Monday evening.
The main objective of this attack was to retake the key hilltop of Tal Malah, which had been captured by the militants of Jaysh Al-Izza and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham in June.
Following a short battle with the militants, the Syrian Arab Army was able to retake Tal Malah; this would result in the reopening of the main road linking Mhardeh and Sqaylabiyeh.
Shortly after the attack, the Russian YouTube channel released a video showing the aftermath of the Syrian Army’s assault.
In the short video below, the footage shows several militant vehicles that were destroyed by the army during this battle on Monday evening.
