BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:00 P.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) launched another powerful attack against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor this week.
The terrorist group began their assault by launching a barrage of missiles towards the Syrian Arab Army’s positions in the Albukamal countryside.
Daesh would then expand their assault to the Syrian Arab Army’s border posts, prompting the latter to respond with a barrage of surface-to-surface missiles and artillery shells.
The Islamic State has now launched three attacks against the Syrian Arab Army in the last 72 hours.
These attacks by the terrorist group are being launched from the Baghouz Fouqani area, which is located just east of the Euphrates River and west of the Iraqi border.
