Colombian Police and Military forces have deployed “all of their capabilities” on the border with Venezuela in order to guarantee safety during the expected delivery of humanitarian aid in the coming days, said Colombian Foreign Minister Carlos Holmes Trujillo in a press conference in Bogota on Thursday.

“Police authorities and military forces have deployed all of their capabilities, all of them, to guarantee the security conditions in all these events in the coming days,” Trujillo said. “They have all the technological, human and technical means available to guarantee all the security in these events.”

Trujillo also noted that Colombia will receive a request from the government of President Guaido regarding the “clearing the existing obstacles on the international bridge that could prevent the delivery of humanitarian aid.”

“Colombia will take this request exclusively when it comes to its own territory,” Trujillo added.

A shipment of humanitarian aid is expected to be delivered to Venezuela through the Colombian border on Saturday, despite shipping containers and other obstacles having been placed on the bridge to block access to Venezuela. Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido is attempting to reach the border along with other officials to bring the aid into the country.

What is this “international bridge” these imbeciles are talking about? Either the bridge is in Colombia or it is in Venezuela – pretty simple stuff, one would think. If they really want to help Venezuelan people, those “aid” convoys should be stuffed with US banknotes – or the gold the UK bank has stolen. Anyway, any sensible Colombian politician should hesitate before starting another paramilitary war after so many decades of problems with FARC.

Also, there is no such thing as “President” Guiado – he has to stand for presidential elections, and win, before such a title can be bestowed on the swine. He would never do that, though – the whole reason for boycotting the last presidential elections was the certain knowledge of defeat, not from ‘fraud”, but sheer unpopularity.
