BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:30 P.M.) – In a new interview by the Rudaw News Agency, a resident in Manbij told the reporter that they welcome the entrance of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) inside the city.

Furthermore, the resident told the reporter that they prefer the Syrian Arab Army over the opposition forces because the latter are ‘thieves’.

The resident of Manbij told the reporter that they don’t trust Erdogan because he is not coming to bring peace to Syria, but more violence.

The Free Syrian Army (FSA) previously controlled Manbij during their early Aleppo campaign; however, they would later lose the city to the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh).

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) would capture Manbij from the Islamic State in 2016; they have maintained control over the city since then.

FSA controlled Manbij and lost it to Daesh and Daesh lost it to SDF and now SDF is handing it over to SAA with the advance of the Turks. FSA were thieves, Daesh were head choppers. SAA look like angels or knights in shining armor.

Yes the civilians are sick of this occupation and want all foreigners out. The Christian population has been protesting the Kurds who have done their share of offenses too but most posters on this site think they are angels. Godspeed SAA.

Yes civilians know what’s going down. He used the words ”they are thieves” and this aptly describes all the antiAssad opposition lots. Civilians are the losers in theses situations and know Assad government is the better option. Unfortunately western journalists are too busy towing the government line and this, the obvious is lost upon them.
