BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:20 P.M.) – The Chinese military suffered over 43 casualties in the border battle with India on June 15th, the ANI News Agency reported on Wednesday.

“Indian intercepts reveal that the Chinese side suffered 43 casualties, including dead and seriously injured in the violent face-off in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley,” ANI News reported.

According to the publication, the clashes occurred on the evening of June 15th after an attempt by the Chinese troops to “unilaterally change” during the clashes in the eastern part of Ladakh.

The website confirmed the reports about 20 Indian soldiers being killed, claiming that the battle resulted in 63 total casualties for both sides.

The Chinese Ministry of Defense has yet to comment on the total number of dead and wounded within their ranks.
