BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:55 A.M.) – The so called Islamic State (IS) has been steadily advancing along the Hama-Idlib axis lately, capturing several towns and villages that were previously under the control of the Al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham rebel group.

IS terrorists operation between the Hama and Idlib governorates managed to score another big advance over the last 24 hours, seizing six towns and villages after a fierce battle with Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Nasr.

According to the terrorist group’s official media wing, their forces captured the towns and villages of Rasm Hammam, Abu Hayyah, Tal Abayah, Abu Khandiq, Anbaz, Rasm Al-Ahmar, Shahat Al-Hamra, and Rasm Sakaf.

With this latest advance by the internationally recognized terrorist group, the Islamic State has now carved out a small caliphate in this agriculturally rich region located between northeastern Hama and southeast Idlib.
