It has been a busy day for the Syrian Army’s (SAA) Tiger Forces as they continue to advance against ISIS in east Aleppo countryside after capturing Saleem mountain, Qasr Al-buraij, Um Kharza, Mustareha Meri, Al-Qitah, Al-Jadedah, Al-Mazroufa and Khirbet Kabbar earlier this morning.
Meanwhile, the SAA has just captured Shanhsa, Al-Shami and Ruwydat Al-Bab towns after heavy clashes with ISIS fighters.
This has effectively meant that in under a week, the SAA has captured over 600km square from ISIS in the East Aleppo countryside.
Continuing on from this impressive offensive, the SAA today exterminated over 30 ISIS fighters, in which most were foreigners.
In desperation, ISIS launched over 8 car bombs today alone, in which all were neutralized, without causing any damage to SAA positions or resulting in casualties.
In addition to the failed suicide bomb attacks, the SAA shot down three ISIS drones, in which two were armed with bombs.
The Tiger Forces seem almost unstoppable at the moment as they are on the verge of linking their areas of control to Kurdish areas and cut the road of the Turkish-led forces who have recently taken control of Al-Bab after an evacuation deal with ISIS.
