BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:50 A.M.) The British Special Air Service (SAS) allegedly killed 20 Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) fighters in the last 24 hours, a source told the Daily Star.
According to the Daily Star, two SAS teams ambushed a group of Islamic State fighters using missiles in a retaliatory attack in eastern Syria.
“Every Brit in Syria volunteered for the operation. It was pay-back time,” a source told the Daily Star.
“The attack went like clockwork. Every time an Islamic State unit is attacked they panic. They put up a bit of a fire-fight, but if the battle isn’t going their way they make a run for it,” they continued.
“They rarely stand and fight unless they have overwhelming force,” the source said.
“The SAS on the ground predicted exactly what the terrorists’ response would be and they were 100 per cent correct. It was all over in less than 30 minutes. Some of those who took part described it as a ‘turkey shoot’,” they added.
