SANA’A, YEMEN (10:20 P.M.) – Yemeni forces loyal to Houthi movement and former president Ali Abdullah Saleh launched a missile strike on Saudi capital of Riyadh.

According to emerging reports, missile division of Yemeni Army fired “Burkan-2” surface-to-surface ballistic missile.

Minutes after Al Masirah TV channel reported the strike, Saudi fighter jets had been heard buzzing in the sky over Sana’a.

Local residents told Al-Masdar News that two airstrikes had been launched on Attan mountain in Yemeni capital.

Houthis and their allies previously used this site to store missiles, making it a target for Saudi coalition that struck the mountain with cruise missiles in early 2015, soon after beginning of invasion of Yemen.

Local military analysts believe that Saudi retaliation strikes on Sana’a indicate that Yemeni missile was not intercepted and hit the target successfully.

    • Hitting Salman’s palace, although military-speaking useless, would be pretty symbolic, thus, there are other countries around participating the coalition of the rats and we can only which these creepy emirs and sheikhs to… go to hell.

  1. Please! It didn’t happen. I’m in Riyadh. I’m still alive. I didn’t hear anything. I didn’t see anything. Don’t spread lies. This sectarian proxy war is unnecessary and these little boys need to go and play their jolly good little war in the playground.
